Dr Sarang Patil Holistic Healer (“we”, “us”, “the site”) publishes health education content at blog.drsarangpatil.com. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, how it is handled, and your rights over it. It is written to match how the site actually works, not a generic template.

What we collect

• Newsletter signup: your email address, if you subscribe. This is sent to our email newsletter provider (Brevo), where configured, to send you updates. It is not sold or shared with anyone else. If no newsletter provider has been configured, signups do not complete.
• Consultation / Contact enquiry: the name, contact details (email or phone), enquiry type, and message you enter if you use the Consultation & Contact form. This is emailed directly to the practice’s inbox and is not stored in this website’s database. Please do not include passwords, financial information, or highly sensitive medical information in that form. Share only what is necessary for us to understand your enquiry.
• Digestive Health Assessment: none. Your answers and results are calculated entirely in your own browser. Nothing you enter into the assessment is ever sent to this website, stored anywhere, or included in analytics.
• Feedback widget: an anonymous yes/no rating on articles, with no personal data attached.
• Standard server logs: IP address and browser user-agent, collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and rate-limiting (e.g. preventing spam submissions), and not used to identify individuals.
• Language preference: a cookie (set by our multilingual plugin, Polylang) so the site remembers whether you’re browsing in English, Hindi, Marathi, or Gujarati. It stores only your language choice.

Analytics

This site can use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand overall visitor numbers and which pages are read, if the site administrator has configured a GA4 Measurement ID. If none is configured, no Analytics tracking runs. Where it is active, Analytics only receives anonymous, aggregate browsing information (such as which page was viewed). It never receives the content of the Consultation form, the Digestive Health Assessment, or any other form on this site. Analytics is not loaded for logged-in site administrators.

What we don’t do

We don’t run third-party advertising, sell your data, or track you across other websites. We don’t operate a public comments system on articles. We don’t attach your Assessment answers or Consultation message to any analytics or advertising tool.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you (e.g. unsubscribe from the newsletter, or ask us to remove a Consultation enquiry from our email records) by writing to drsarangpatil@gmail.com.
